Ronda Piszk Broatch
Writing a Poem with a Glass of Wine or Two, and Three Pieces of Chocolate
You confess you don’t believe in time, in the divine,
call me doll face, your bewitching sex kitten. My email
keeps popping up, and Ken and Shar say they will
offer their house for the cookie party. Dreamboat,
what is revealed when the sugar’s been swept from
the counter, the last of the dough licked from the spoon?
Time doesn’t mean anything to you, but you’re all about
gravity, and space is your natural environment. Honey,
you yell, you’ve won the $5000 jackpot & a free Sam’s Club
card to spend as you like; also, a VIP offer on a Portable
Space Heater, some CBD gummies in bright primary colors!
A glass of wine or two, and I’m on Amazon, I’m your little
cupcake trying to find the right shade of shakable sprinkles,
those Red Hots with Red Dye #40. I don’t know everything
Frida Kahlo knew, only that there are lots of good Black
Friday deals, new and customizable pumpkin dump cake
recipes, and did you know that those German hearing aids
have taken America by storm? My little stunner, my fox.
